Pastor Geoff preaches Ephesians 3.20 which is Paul's doxology culminating the first three chapters on the great glory of God in saving sinners & uniting them to Christ. This text also prepares us for Ephesians 4-6 as we live out the exhortations that God calls us to.
Geoff preaches on Psalm 19:7-14 and covers just the first three attributes of God's Word in this sermon. He reveals what is meant by the various attributes, he illustrates them, and shows how these should affect us and how we relate to God's Word.
Psalm 19 teaches us about the revelation of God in creation and then it shows the divine nature of God's Word. Verses 7ff reveal how powerful, true, right, and perfect God's word is. Listen to this message and hear how David describes the truthfulness of God's Word.
Pastor Geoff preaches at the very busy 4th of July Fair in St Louis, Missouri as 1,000's walk by to head to the Fireworks. We proclaim Christ & call men and women to consider eternity, their souls, and we plead with them to turn from sin & trust in Christ!
In this audio-blog, Pastor Geoff completes a series of messages dealing with gender, identity, and marriage matters.
And in this final segment, he deals with salvation -- what it is, why it's needed, and how it is the nucleus of every segment of theology.
Christians must be armed with God's Word, knowledgeable of God's Gospel, and speaking the truth in love with our neighbors. We must proclaim Christ!
Listen to this podcast, know the gospel, trust in Christ alone, and speak the truth in love in a culture & in a generation where confusion abounds. Let Christ's truth thunder through the streets in our land!
Pastor Geoff teaches this audio-blog/podcast on the important & relevant topic of homosexuality -- or, 'same-sex marriage.'
Pastor Geoff shows what God says about marriage and how the Bible explicitly and undeniably calls homosexuality sin. Those who persist in such lifestyles will not go to heaven; but they will perish forevermore under God's just wrath.
But God extends grace and mercy to those who repent (turn from/forsake/abandon) their sinful ways and trust (believe, follow, obey) in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Homosexuality is a sin that can be forgiven (just as other sins) because God's grace is such that it extends even to the worst of sinners and it is so sufficient that it can cover even the most vile and heinous of sins.
This audio blog speaks to the sinfulness of homosexuality and why it is sinful. Believers today must stand courageously on God's truth and not shy away from declaring God's Word regarding such issues in our society.
Come to Christ! Trust in Him! Flee from your wicked ways!
In this message, Pastor Geoff continues the exposition through the Book of Revelation and here he teaches on the 2nd series of 'seven judgments' in the future Tribulation period -- the 'trumpet judgments.'
Revelation 8 contains the first four of the seven trumpet judgments (the final three are contained in Revelation 9).
Listen to this exposition through the text. See how important it is to interpret Revelation with a normal, plain, straightforward hermeneutic (=interpretation) so as to read God's Word plainly as he intended to convey it.
In this message, Pastor Geoff preaches on the glorious text on the Transfiguration. Probably no greater or clearer occasion exists where the unrivaled and unsurpassed deity of Jesus Christ is manifestly evident than here.
