Geoff preaches Psalm 117 at the Bridge Bible Fellowship & calls everyone to grasp a greater view of God and his glory that will come among the nations. Geoff calls everyone to consider a life of total surrender to serving Christ — even on the foreign mission field so as to take God's gospel to the unreached & be used by God to see more sinners become worshippers of the one, true God. Listen & Apply.
Remember >> 28% of black pregnancies result in abortion!
> abortion is the #1 killer of black people in America.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, abortion kills more black people than HIV, homicide, diabetes, accident, cancer, and heart disease … combined.
>> already about 19 million abortions worldwide THIS year
This much is true: In the United States, the abortion rate for black women is almost five times that for white women. Antiabortion activists, including some African-American pastors, have been waging a campaign around this fact, falsely asserting that the disparity is the result of aggressive marketing by abortion providers to minority communities.
> the greatest civil rights issue in our day is the SLAYING OF THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN DAILY
Total abortions in US since 1973 - 61 million
About 3000 abortions PER DAY in US
about 100 abortions PER HOUR in US
1 abortion every 90 seconds in US
> babies killed!
Black Lives DO matter
all unborn black lives
UNBORN lives matter
ALL lives matter.
"All Unjust Rulers Will Be Justly Punished by God"
Psalm 82 reveals the reality that all human rulers and authorities are under the sovereign rule of God. All rulers will have to give an account to the Supreme Ruler on the final day. We should pray for our leaders and long for justice.
In this sermon, Pastor Geoff continues the exposition through the book of Ephesians and shows how all of this glorious work of redemption is a work of God. The main verb in these verses is "You have been saved."
Then, in vv.8-9, Paul fleshes this out with 5 supporting phrases/clauses. **HOW ARE YOU SAVED?**
1. By grace
2. Thru faith
3. Outside yourself
4. From God
5. Without works
Why? So that no one may boast (in self and in our accomplishments) -- but we boast ONLY in Jesus Christ!
"Amazing Workmanship: God Saved You Unto Good Works!"
In this sermon, Pastor Geoff continues the verse by verse exposition through EPHESIANS. Ephesians 2:10 is the glorious conclusion to Paul's magnificent explanation of God's Work of salvation for sinners (2:1-9). In 2:10, we see that we are God's workmanship -- handiwork -- and he Created us (regeneration/new-creations) for good works.
God has saved us and He will sanctify us. He changes our hearts and he will conform us to Christ!
Pastor Geoff preaches at a men's gathering in St Louis, MO and preaches on "Godly Zeal" -- not just sheer zeal or bare excitement. But the point of the sermon is looking at characteristics that help us understand what Godly Zeal is.
"An Evening Prayer for Your Spiritual Growth & Protection!"
Pastor Geoff preaches Psalm 141 -- an evening prayer for 'closing each day with God.' In this psalm we learn from David how to pray in the evening & some key elements that should characterize our evening petitions:
1) hear me!
2) sanctify me!
3) protect me!
Listen to this psalm expounded & be a doer of the Word as well as a hearer!
"An Evening Prayer of Trust When Others Verbally Attack You!"
Psalm 4 is David's hymn affirming his trust in the Lord even while his enemies pursue him and slander his character. But David has a robust confidence in the Lord that allows him to lie down and sleep with the certain confidence that the Lord will sustain him.
In this sermon, Pastor Geoff teaches on the odd, hypothetical question that the Sadducees raise to Jesus in order to show that his doctrine of the resurrection is totally illogical & foolish.
Jesus responds with brilliant directness & clarity. He shows that there IS a future resurrection and He shows it with a theological argument and an exegetical (biblical) argument.
Learn from our Savior and see how masterful and clear He responds to those who posed this question to Him.
"An Introduction to Revelation, Part 2: The OT in Revelation"
Pastor Geoff provides part 2 of the introduction to the Book of Revelation.

- What is the meaning of a text (what the original A/author intended & what the original readers understood)
- What kind of genre of writing is this? Prophecy
- What are Old Testament texts that still remain unfulfilled that still await future, complete fulfillment?
"An Introduction to the Book of Revelation, Part 1"
This message is the introduction to the book of Revelation. Pastor Geoff covers the introductory issues that are essential to a proper understanding (=hermeneutic) of the Book of Revelation. This message covers topics such as the authorship, the date, the purpose, the themes, the theological doctrines covered, and the proper way to read and interpret the Book of Revelation.
God has intended Revelation to be an understandable book so that His people would have joy and live expectant lives ready for the any-moment return of Christ!
"An Invitation to You From Wisdom & From Folly: Which Do You Choose?"
This sermon concludes our expository preaching series through Proverbs 1-9. This final section, Proverbs 9, is a fitting summary and conclusion to the section.
1. Accept Wisdom's Invitation (1-6)
2. Avoid Folly's Invitation (13-18)
In the middle are the two responses to such invitations -- one of the scoffer and one of the man who Fears the LORD.
This message covers the eschatological era called the "Tribulation" which comprises a seven-year period of time when God will judge the world for her sin & prepare Israel to receive her Messiah.
This message is an overview of the Tribulation & a jet-tour through the Book of Revelation.
"An Urgent Call to Children to Turn to Christ & Follow Him!"
Pastor Geoff urges many passers-by in downtown Clayton, MO to repent of sin and flee to Christ while they still have time! This occurred during a lunch-hour as Pastor Geoff preached the gospel of Jesus Christ & pleaded with sinners to fly to Christ for refuge!
Pastor Geoff continues the exposition through Luke's Gospel and here he focuses on Anna (2:36-38) — a propetess who served God until the age of 84, even as a widow. She worshiped with passion, with hunger, with prayer, with fastings, with evangelism.
She was a woman after God's own heart. This character, Anna, models not only for all women but for every senior saint (the 'aged') how to live in undistracted worship & undiminished praise in the elderly years.
