Pastor Geoff preaches on the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the streets of St Louis, MO during a busy afternoon rush. He shows from Scripture the absolute necessity of the bodily, physical, literal resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. Repent and believe in Him!
Pastor Geoff provides a podcast on the Christology of John the Baptist.
John the Baptist’s CHRISTOLOGY:
who is JESUS from the lips of John??? Luke 3:16
He is MAN (but One…)
He is COMING (is coming…)
He is SUPREME/MIGHTY (mightier than I)
He is MAJESTIC (not fit to untie his sandal)
He is SAVIOR (baptize you w/ holy spirit)
He is JUDGE (with fire)
He is EXECUTIONER (burn up w/ unquenchable fire)
"John the Baptist: Imprisoned, Hated, Killed — Yet Faithful!"
This sermon surveys John the Baptist. Jesus called John "The lamp burning & shining" (John 5.35).
John was a man of...
1. Unflinching courage (a preaching man)
2. Unambiguous clarity (baptizing man)
3. Unparalleled humility (humble man)
4. Undeniable hope (Christ-pointing man)
Let's all strive, by God's grace, to emulate John and point others to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
"Josiah's Untimely Death: A Case in Misplaced Priorities & Meddling in Others' Affairs"
In this brief podcast, Pastor Geoff shows the tragic and swift downfall of Josiah in his meddling in the affairs of others. He got distracted away from his primary duties. But nevertheless, he purposed to intervene into other people's affairs and suffered for it.
Don't neglect your foremost calling for other good duties. Keep the main thing the main thing!
Psalm 98 is a hymn of joyful and exuberant praise! The psalmist calls us to sing to the LORD a "new song", to sing and shout loudly (lit. "burst open with praise"). He summons us to conjoin with nature in praising God as we await the soon-coming of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In this sermon, Pastor Geoff preaches on the reign of King Asa -- where, here, he leads the nation in great reformation and revival.
He receives the Word from the prophet.
He is a courageous leader.
He is committed to leading the congregation in a re-committal ceremony to God and to their covenant with Him.
He clings to God in holiness of life.
"King Josiah's Godly Resolve: Remember & Celebrate the Passover Lamb!"
Pastor Geoff gives 10 warnings & safeguards so that we would know our ENEMY - the great accuser of our souls, the Dragon, and Satan. May we KNOW our enemy and his tactics so that we would be ready and firmly grounded in God and His Word to stand FIRM against His wily schemes.

"Knowing the Will of God" — A Guide for Biblical Decision Making
Geoff provides clarification for the different ways that the will of God occurs in Scripture. Then he provides a host of practical questions to ask while making those decisions that are not specifically or directly spelled out in God's Word. Listen to and apply this sermon!
Do you have the DESIRE and ASPIRATION to the office of overseer and the work of ministry?
Do you believe your marriage is an “exemplary” marriage, though not perfect but an example for others to see and emulate?
Do you manage your own household well keeping your children in order? Do you teach them truth? Do you protect them from danger (spiritually)? Do you lead in family worship?
Are you sexually pure? Are you truly a “one-woman man” and do you abstain from all porn and fornication (in every form)?
Where do you need to grow in your *character* as a man of God (see, e.g., 1 Tim 3:3-6)?
Do you believe that you are doing the work of an elder currently? Are you teaching truth? Are you protecting from error? Are you ministering to the souls of people? Are you maturing in the faith?
Do you agree fully with the CFBC What We Teach statement? If not, where do you disagree?
Are you willing to make the time to prioritize elder meetings (twice a month on Sunday mornings) and shepherding needs as they arise, to the best of your ability?
