Pastor Geoff discusses the next three pieces of the believer's armor: (1) the shield of faith; (2) the helmet of salvation; and (3) the sword of the Spirit. Join pastor Geoff as he delves deep into Ephesians 6 and makes the passage practical to you for so you can apply it for God's glory.
In this fourth and final section on the "Armor of God," pastor Geoff deals with the vital element of prayer in the life of the believer. He talks about how believers should pray in this spiritual battle and then he answers some of the hard questions, namely, if God is totally sovereign and has a fixed, planned, and certain decree for everything that will happen, then why pray? Geoff answers these questions and more tonight.
"How You Can Respond to the Most Devastating Situation in Your Life..."
The book of Lamentations teaches us that God judged Israel for their sin and it records how Jeremiah—a faithful man who honored God—responded to such a tragedy. We can learn from Jeremiah how to respond to tragedies in life. We can focus on the unchanging character of God and that will direct our hearts to the glories of the gospel and the sovereignty of God.
Pastor Geoff preaches on Jonah 2 and explains how Jonah prayed from inside the fish. His interaction with God, his pouring out of his soul to God is instructive for us as we can learn from this prayer.

"How You Should Live in Light of the Son of God's Kingship"
In this psalm, Pastor Geoff shows a number of important elements: (1) the nations of the earth may rebel against God; (2) But God is completely unshaken by their rebellion; (3) and God has established a Sovereign King upon Zion, His Holy hill — Jesus Christ; and (4) God demands that all must bow, be wise, be warned, and serve, and kiss him in order to be spared from judgment.

Pastor Geoff preaches the next stanza in Psalm 119 (the chet stanza of 8 verses -- vv.57-64). The theme of these verses is hurrying to obey God with all your heart. The theme is walking, obeying, keeping, doing, following God.
But the motive is found in verse 57 - God is my portion! He is my fullness! He is my all in all!
Listen to these 3 compelling reasons to hurry to obey God!
Pastor Geoff urges the many who pass by to turn to Jesus Christ and live. This message was preached in downtown St Louis before a St Louis Cardinals baseball game. Thousands heard the gospel and the plea to enter through the narrow door and not be self-deceived in trusting in their religiosity.
Pastor Geoff gives a biblical exhortation to husbands to love their wives, to learn them, to care for them, and to point them to Christ and the gospel regardless of how the wife may respond.
