Pastor Geoff preaches Psalm 130 and shows how this chapter reveals God's gospel -- for it is all about God! This is the Romans 3 of the Old Testament.
If God should mark our iniquities. That is, if God kept a record of them or if God imputed them to our account, who could possibly stand? Answer: none of us. Actually, there is One who could stand -- the Lord Jesus Christ. But God crushed Him so that we, who could not stand, may stand by faith in Christ and as we stand in His righteousness!
Listen to this magnificent psalm as it is explained and as the gospel of God's grace is trumpeted forth!

"3 Comforting Truths That Come from God's Supreme Holiness & Sovereignty!"

2. Jesus powerfully prays for you.

May God write His eternal truths upon our hearts as we study God's Word, verse by verse, together.
Pastor Geoff continues the exposition through Psalm 119 and teaches on the Ayin Stanza (vv.121-128) and shows how the psalmist, as the servant of the LORD, receives much oppression from arrogant enemies. Yet even in this situation, he depends on God and he prizes God's Word.
Pastor Geoff continues the exposition through Philippians and begins the introductory section on Paul's praying for these believers. In these opening verses of 1:3-5, Paul expresses why he prays for and gives thanks to God for them.
He prays for every single saint by name. He intercedes for them in fervent and urgent entreaties to God. He loves them and prays for the believers with joy.
Let us learn from Paul's example and emulate this as we pray for one another in the local church.
