Pastor Geoff teaches 10 reasons why Jesus Christ is glorious:
1. His Prophetic Fulfillment
2. His Undeniable Deity
3. His Genuine Humanity
4. His Impeccable Righteousness
5. His Tender Compassions
6. His Complete Atonement
7. His Bodily Resurrection
8. His Triune Fellowship
9. His Infinite Attributes
10. His Unrivaled Loveliness
Pastor Geoff preaches in the open square on the doctrine of the Love of God that is revealed in Jesus Christ. It's ultimately found and seen most clearly at the cross when God crushed His own Son so that sinners may be saved -- all out of His free & infinite & sovereign love!
Pastor Geoff teaches more on a biblical theology evangelism and here discusses how evangelism is related to a correct doctrine of:
- ecclesiology (doctrine of the church)
- eschatology (doctrine of last things)
"A Parable of the Wicked Vine-Growers & Sending of the Beloved Son!"
Pastor Geoff preaches on the story (parable) of the wicked vine-growers who worked the owner's vineyard and mistreated the slaves he repeatedly sent over and over and over. All this symbolized the history of Israel and their rejection of God and of His Beloved Son, Jesus the Messiah.
See the story about Israel
See the prophecy about Christ
See the judgment on unbelievers
Be warned! Don't trip over this Stone who is Christ and be judged! Don't let Him fall on you in utter judgment & irresistible wrath! Come to Christ, the Beloved Son and know Him as Savior!
Pastor Geoff teaches the next section of the 'biblical theology of evangelism' and in this class session, Geoff teaches on the doctrine of soteriology (salvation) and how the work of salvation is ALL of God -- totally, fully from God (from first to last).
The primary text that this class works through is Romans 8:28-30.
Listen to this and let the absolute sovereignty of God fuel your confidence in and desire for evangelism.
In this sermon, Pastor Geoff continues the verse by verse study through the Gospel of Luke (and, the Passion Week) and here we see Jesus confronted by the Jewish elite -- an official delegation of rabbinical scholars.
And Jesus totally baffles them and confounds them and traps those who came to trap Him!
This sermon traces what happens and shows that Jesus does, in fact, have all authority!
Pastor Geoff exhorts us to engage in constant and committed prayer.

"Evangelism Class #5 - Theology of Evangelism (Regeneration)"
Pastor Geoff teaches on 'a theology of evangelism' and covers specifically:
1. anthropology (doctrine of man's depravity & inability)
2. regeneration (the sovereign work of God to give life to a dead soul)
Pastor Geoff provides reasons why it is best -- over the long haul -- to preach through Books of the Bible verse by verse...
1) give the entirety of the Word to the people
2) preach all the doctrines
3) it's the way God communicated -- whole books
4) it helps the congregation as they know the context week by week
5) it aids the preacher as he studies & knows the background
6) it helps the congregation prepare for what's coming next week
7) God providentially brings Scriptures at the right time for the church-life & the lives of your people
Pastor Geoff preaches and gives 5 reasons why every Christian should be diligently committed to -- in membership -- a local assembly of believers.
1) for the sake of your soul
2) for the sake of your elders
3) for the sake of your brethren
4) for the sake of the lost
5) for the sake of Christ
Pastor Geoff preaches in front of Clayton High School (in ST Louis, MO) when the bell rings and the students exit the building. He preaches from Mark 8:35ff and shows that it's not foolish to think now about eternity -- and to take action now to repent of sin and trust in Christ alone!
Pastor Geoff continues the exposition thru Philippians and shows how this section (vv.3-8) deals with Paul speaking of WHY he prays for the Philippian believers. He gives thanks to God for them (v.3).
Verse 6 is a triumphant theological reality but it's inseparably linked to prayer.
This verse teaches us 3 reasons why Paul gives thanks...
1. Your salvation STARTED WITH GOD.
2. Your salvation IS SUSTAINED BY GOD.
3. Your salvation IS SECURE IN GOD.
Evangelism Class #4 - A Biblical Theology of Evangelism"
Pastor Geoff preaches Luke 19:41-44 and heralds this pericope unique to Luke during the Triumphal Entry procession. As He rides on the donkey presenting Himself as Messianic King on Sunday of the passion week, we see 3 characteristics of our Messianic King:
1. He wept compassionately
2. He prophesied judgment
3. He offers salvation
Marvel at this glorious Christ who has such a tender compassion for the lost & for the doom that those who reject Him will receive.
Pastor Geoff provides 5 traits for godly leadership.
1. Prayerful (dependent)
2. Biblical (theological -- men of God; men who pursue God)
3. Trustworthy (integrity)
4. Humble (servants)
5. Encouragers (care about others genuinely; seek to delegate to others; use others; train others; support & encourage them)
